Founder & Leadership
Founded by Prof. Nageswara Rao Peela, a faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, ChemSus is built on a strong foundation of academic excellence and translational research. Prof. Peela brings extensive expertise in chemical process development, reaction engineering, and sustainable separation technologies, enabling the company to bridge the gap between laboratory innovation and industrial-scale implementation.

At its core, ChemSus is an R&D-driven enterprise, supported by state-of-the-art laboratories and a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers. The company specialises in the development of bio-based platform chemicals derived from lignocellulosic biomass and renewable feedstocks, ensuring both scalability and sustainability.
